This faithful reproduction of the rockers manufactured by the Mt. Lebanon Shakers for sale to the "World's People" reflects the finest aspects of Shaker design and craftsmanship. The high back, smooth turnings, and flowing curves have made them popular for generations. Many mothers find this chair to be an ideal nursing rocker. Rock maple frame. Shown in Ebony stain; woven in 5/8" Maroon in a herringbone pattern. Each furniture kit contains all materials needed, except the final finish, including sandpaper, hardware, and simple step-by-step instructions. Kits are supplied with Ebony Wiping Stain. Over the stain, a final finish is required. Your local hardware store can supply varnish (ask for satin or eggshell). Height of back 42". Height of seat 16". Seat width 23". Seat depth 19".
